Does the Aluminum Have any Value? Do you care how long it lasts?
Do you care if it starts corroding later in the short future?

Aircraft Aluminum is Treated by a Mild Acid bath etching it followed by a bath of Alodine Then it is Painted with a Epoxy Primmer rich in Zinc followed by a Real paint such as "Deltron" made by the late company Dupont.

Aluminum does not Rust it Corrodes and it starts corroding as soon as it is made within seconds. Most Aluminum's have a coating of "CLAD" on it which is a coating of Pure Aluminum over the surface this is generally Tens of thousandth thick coating extremely thin and very soft. This is applied so it corrodes to protect the Base material.

Once Corrosion starts in Aluminum there is no stopping it there is only controlling it
or removing it but there is no stopping it.
