are you talking about basecoat ? D8115 will go over any basecoat,

you can add up to 5% hardener to the basecoat

Yes basecoat is what I am talking about and any basecoat was the answer I was looking for specifically. I received the P sheet for D8115 from my PPG dealer today and will see if I can post it here.

For anyone interested it (D8115) comes in 1 liter containers and average price is $120 USD each and the hardener is around $85 USD per liter . DCU2060 comes in quarts and is $100 USD each plus the DCX61 hardener is $150-$160 per qt. My point is it cost the same to make it shiny with 2021. I prefer shiny myself.

i pay 80 bucks for a liter of D8115
and pay 40 for the hardener.

who is your jobber ?

i prefer gloss for street cars. the matte jobs ive done on daily drivers customers have a hard time maintaining the low gloss finish. they look great but hard to take care of

I do know the more you buy the cheaper the price. The prices I've said are over the counter prices a individual would pay as a walkin not a production shop.
