Like I said before, I agree with you.
Just wanted to be clear about how we got to this place.
It seemed everyone rallied around Barry's decision and there wasn't much if any dissent.

I have been a lurker here for quite some time and registered here simply to reply to this topic. I too wondered what the ******* was, I have never tried a Tamco product and after reading this topic and the other topic linked which explains the ******** this childish behavior has cemented the fact that I never will try a Tamco product. Id actually go as far as saying (In my opinion) this website has tarnished Tamco's image by its actions and could be responsible for harming the business.

Thanks for your feedback.

If you want to talk about 'childish' behavior, go look at that other brand and how, after this site helped put them on the map years ago -- they turn around and treat this site and me personally like a piece of garbage. This has been happening for a long time.

At some point I get tired of bullies and playing the victim role. At the point where they began actively warning their own members that they were not to discuss Tamco, and they put their own word filter in place to make sure the name could not be mentioned...then I figure I might as well do the same here.

As soon as I get an apology and they reverse their own block, I will do the same. Which probably means never.

I cannot express how little I care about this. It's such a silly discussion. I am only responding to you because you have a very one-sided view of this topic.

If you don't want to use Tamco products that's fine; nobody is forcing you. Sales have been up over 200% over the last three months so your theory is wrong.

I would add to this that not trying Tamco will be YOUR loss. Personally I have and continue to use both product lines and have found them to be quality products.

This isn't an issue about loyalty to one product line or the other. Having been personally reprimanded for mentioning Tamco on the other site, I can say firsthand that Chris only reacted to what Barry had initiated.

Personal issues between them should not be the basis for your product selection.

Not trying Tamco's products due to someone else's actions does seem wrong.

I am quite happy with their products, which so far has been limited to DTM & Epoxy primers and the Euro Clear.

Plus, I am special and I have Tammy's personal cell phone number (ok, she puts it on the website) and can ask her questions any time - just this last Saturday I had texted her regarding a question that I had with the Tamco Epoxy - and she answered it almost immediately!!
Sent by the random thoughts from the voices in my head...

I like to try new products, and have learned about some of them on here. some were good some not so good. but I would have never learned of the good ones if it wasn't for this forum and people talking about some product they used and liked it.
