Molding and Emblem glue

Some may know this trick and some may like to know

Citrus dissolves double side glue and adhesive on the back of moldings and emblems.

also removes the glue left behind after removing vinyl

here is a few pics of a JEEP emblem soaked in citrus

you can see how the double sided tape just fell off and wiped clean

Nice. Is that lime juice or something you buy special?
I have been using 3M adhesive remover.

not exactly cheep but if it works as said it would be worth it. should be on everybody's shelf.

yeah not cheap but if you have a emblem or molding can just let it soak in there no waste to speak of

Saw this a few months back on one of my wood conservation tech. bulletins. It's being used on antique woods and metals. If conservators are using it that's a pretty high recommendation.

Compared to your time trying to get that glue off, I'd say it is a value product.
