Hello all,
I've just come across a very odd reaction that I've never seen before. I've painted the wing and bumper on a Jaguar XF in 2K bc and lac. Nothing unusual, just another job rolled out onto the street with no surprises - that is until it rained.
Where the raindrops sat there were "milky blue" dots all around the panels that looked not unlike bloom but wouldn't buff out, however, there's a twist in the tail. Once the rain stopped and the weather improved the paintwork reverts back to black with no evidence of this strange manifestation. I've tried buffing and waxing but it's still happening, can anybody help please?
I'd insert a picture but because I'm new to the forum I guess it won't allow me for spamming reasons.
An unusual reaction

Across the pond they refer to clear coat as lacquer. 1968 Coronet R/T
