My 68 gmc tail gate ( single wall ) is warped . It was over loaded with only one chain and the weight put a warp in it. Is there any way to get it out ?
If you lay it on a flat floor the hinge side lays flat but the chain end at one end is up off the floor.

:goodpost: ^^ this would be my first try. it must be a stepside box as my 68 fleetside had a double wall construction.

mine was an 81 chevy shortbed. the tailgate was pretty light- compared to the one on my 95 f150. i think that one weighed about 80 lbs.
