It seems to be a very popular product and has lots of great reviews.
In the prep description it talks about using an orbital sander with 180 grit to scuff all surfaces and then spray their proprietary acid primer on any areas you cut through to metal.
I’m wanting to use this product on the whole underside of my blasted epoxy primered body shell, anyone have some good ideas for how to prep the surface, clearly running an orbital sanderover an undulating constantly changing surface is not going to work very well.

First make sure the substrate is clean and dry. Polyurethanes hate water.
Prep with P120-P180 softbacks. You just want to evenly scratch the surface, not necessarily sand it down or get rub throughs. For difficult spots or exposed corners/edges red Scotchbrite will do just fine. A Schutz gun I find the best - the long nozzle will allow you to get into areas that a normal gun just can't reach. Adjust air pressure and distance to get the finish you want. Chris

Good advise above.
The epoxy primer is the best foundation for the liner. I purchased the kit with a Schuzt applicator and shot the underside and floors of this Jeep with it. The owner now lives near the coast in California. It's been driving for over 3 years now and he called to let me know it still looks great. 1968 Coronet R/T

Yeah, Raptor is one of the most popular bed liner materials with the kit car guys now. It's used a lot up under fiberglass fenders to prevent "starring" from rock chips. Epoxy/Raptor combo is some tough stuff.....

Awesome thanks folks, I will get some soft backed 120 grit sanding pads and see how I go knocking the shine of the epoxy
