Folks,
Sent some suspension parts off to be blasted such as the diff, tailshaft, leaf spring springs etc.
They have come back blasted and in an epoxy primer, I’m about to now do the mechanical work and rebuild them, new bearings seals etc.
What is a good finish to put over these parts, can I leave them in epoxy primer, better yet can I get a tinited/coloured epoxy primer and paint over the top of them, or should I just paint them with a standard 2k finish or coat them in raptor liner.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Steve

I Spray all my under body stuff with Black epoxy 2 coats and leave it like that.
It doesn't see any Day light UV so it lasts forever very Tough stuff. Dennis B.

^^^ if your wanting that gloss black or some other color look then sand and scratch pad the parts. then I like to spray a light coat of epoxy as a sealer coat and then the color, this makes a good tough coating.

Sounds good.
Not after any gloss or fancy colours, so I might go over the blasters grey epoxy with another coat of just black epoxy Steve |
