PREPPING EPOXY PRIMER AFTER SITTING

I shot some epoxy on the roof and fenders of my mustang today. The areas were rusted to the point they needed to be addressed ASAP. Now that the epoxy is on the bare metal areas, unfortunately I won't be able to shoot a 2k high build till next weekend (I know you're supposed to shoot the 2k soon after the epoxy, but didn't want to have the 2k sit outside and collect moisture). What will I need to do to prep the epoxy to prepare it for the 2k?

Scuff it real good with Red Scotch bright should be good to go.
Also some Epoxys can be re-shot over itself at any time to reopen window if thats what you want to do consult your tech sheets Dennis B.
