got a mirror to paint- and a brain fart

brain fart seems to be causing CRS( cant remember s**t).
aftermarket mirror for an 08 grand prix should be here today. using matrix bc/cc.
can i wash, scuff, and spray the bc/cc or should i apply a primer?

i would probably seal it with either epoxy or urethane sealer.

use some sand paste and a red/gray scotch brite.

If it's bare plastic make sure you use adhesion promoter on it first, before primer.

welp, missed that but scuffed, sealed, and painted. we shall see how it holds up.
