It comes with extensions so you can paint guards and bonnet together

Hoods always look better if they're painted flat. This holds true with doors and trunk lids too. Keep the same painting orientation as the parts fit on the vehicle...

Not metallic Train, but ****! my OCD has me rethinking hanging it now :knockout:

A pic of where I stand so far. That’s if I can figure out how to post it. All sanded with 400 and smooth. I just have to clean it and wipe it down, then tack before I paint it.

Quick 2 questions tho, I can see, in certain light, the 400 grit scratches. Is that normal? Will the bc cover them?
Not sure why the image is sideways. Ugh! It’s normal in my album
Also, the white spots on the hood are the OEM paint

P400 is a bit too coarse, even for solid white. P600 would be much better.

The stand is made by a Vietnamese bloke who used to own a panel shop and sold to start designing stands that really suit a painter's needs. That one was one of his first designs and is a bit light. We have a bar stand that is even better.

Dang! Could have sworn 400 was the way to go. Off to do more sanding :realmad:
