I'm painting my second project. The first project had the interior out bit this one is 50 installed
It's a older car and I need to remove the door handles so the question is.....
How to open and close the doors while painting the **** thing?

Every car is a bit different but most older cars use some kind of link, usually a wire rod, between the door handle and the lock. Disconnect the rod at the handle end, remove the handle and leave the rod in place. Then just reach in and push or pull the rod to open the door.

If that does't work then you'll have to improvise.....

Generally you will be painting the doors & jambs too. So the door striker and catch are removed as well as the handles and the door just swings open and closed.

It depends on your level that your going to. You can just mask everything off.
But I always remove everything like 68 said. Makes a cleaner paint job more detail.
