How much do you block your jams?

Hello all, I'm building a sunny day type car. Not a show car nor a DD. Do you guide coat and block the jams to the same 600 as you would the rest of the body? First time around for me. Thanks, 1

Yes. I would prep every place that can be seen the same as the hood, doors, etc....
