Not counting methods involving blasting , what do you think is the best method for stripping paint from door jambs, under hood inner structure and other tight areas with lots of irregular shapes?

Thanks

For stripping? your left with Paint stripper Or doing it by hand.

Personally there is no way I would use Paint stripper, I have used lots of it in the past I hate the stuff very messy, easily burned by the stuff. Hard to remove from cracks crevices folds in the metal.
Others love the stuff.

How about a "Crud Thug" style rotary tool? Would it work in tight spaces and irregular shapes with destroying the disk? Would it be too aggressive for stripping layers of paint in these areas when restoring a classic car?

You lost me? I don't know a "Crud Thug" style rotary tool is?

When I am restoring an old car I usually remove the doors and dissemble them.
Engine and transmission comes out wiring AC units everything, Interior all the Glass etc its Not hard to sand or strip anything at that point.
