Looking for advice on a DIY fix for my bent door edge. My door while open was hit at the airport causing a 4 inch portion to be bent outward, and a few paint chips were taken off. (see picture)

It doesn't have to be perfect, just looking for recommendations on the best way to bend the door edge back into shape and touch up the parts where the paint came off.

Thanks.

Use a block of wood and a hammer to work it back into shape, starting from the outsides in. Go slowly, you don't want to push it back in the other way. A layer of tape over the paint will help to reduce collateral damage and warming the area with a heat gun will help to reduce paint cracking.
