Quick question. When doing a deck spoiler should I spray the trunk lid portion before I assemble the car to spray. I'm doing a pearl so I'm told to do the jams then put the car together and spray whole? I have a chin spoiler and deck lip so not sure what to do underneath. Advise? Thanks. 1

Spoilers were painted separately at the factory, then assembled to the car.
That's the way to paint them (off the car and installed after the paint cures).

Assembling the car before final topcoat is one way to do it, and is mostly the way the factory did it. Some folks paint in pieces, but with a pearl I'd paint it assembled.
(Except for the aforementioned spoilers.)
