I bought a used 3000GT that had some door issues from an accident. I'm a novice at bodywork and wanted to see if this is something I should try tackling myself or take it to a shop.

There are 2 places where it looks like someone attempted bodywork. The first on the upper part of the door, smalled than a quarter and then second right above the driver's side wheel.

Are these imperfections I could Bondo over and touch up or are they too large and better left to a pro? I doubt I could make it look worse!

If that is original paint on the car it is 24 years old.
What are your intentions with the car?

Yes it is the original paint.

I'm just annoyed seeing the spots, so I was going to see if this something I could tackle myself...

Much more information will be gained by sanding out the existing botched repair. For all we know it was a hack job to try to fill rust holes. If so not a DIY project. If instead they are shallow dents then you can successfully remove all the old filler. Sand the base metal with 80 grit and apply new filler. Once set it can be block sanded quite nicely even by a relative beginner. Be prepared to do 2-3 coats as you will find flaws after sanding.
