White marks on my car after removing pine sap

I used alchohol to remove pine sap from my black car. Unknowingly i used it on a hot sunny day and now i have white spots around the spot. Have i ruined the clear coat? How can i fix it? Does Buffing work. Please help.

Best way I have found to remove the stuff is HOT soapy water the hotter the better.
