Painted some urethane ground effects over the weekend with 2k paint, didn't get all the pieces cleared because I ran out of hardener.
Due to going out of town I may not get back to these for about 2 weeks.
At that time is it ok to prep painted parts with w/g remover and spray clear or will there be an issue with waiting that long to clear ?

if you used base coat you'll need to rebase and then clear. look in you product info sheet and find out what the recoat time is for the base coat, sometimes its a day or two.

If it's 2K paint like you said, just scuff it with a gray scotch pad or
sand it with 600 and clear it.
Any 2K paint needs some tooth to paint over once it sets up.

(It's not custom painting-it's custom sanding)

Ok thanks for the info.
I looked at the tech sheet (which I should have done before posting) and it says clear within 7 days.
Going to try to get some clear on these tonight before I leave and then scuff and flow coat when I return.

The base coat I use only gives me 45-60 min to clear

It is a solid color but if I scuff / sand it with a light grit won't it show through the clear?

600 grit wet? If I need to wet sand between coats, what do I use to wipe the finish after the wets sanding? I heard mineral spirits are not good.
