So big milestone accomplished! I have finished with painting my wheel wells, bumpers, and faux fenders. It looks great, but alas some of the tape did not adhere well to the blue Raptor paint. In some spots, the tape lifted just a bit and it allowed the black to bleed a bit into the blue. The normal person glancing at the van will probably not notice these areas. The problem is I notice. It is irritating.
I was thinking of getting some touch up paint in the blue and just hitting those black spots that landed outside my tape line with a tiny brush. But then an friend suggested installing black pinstripe tape at the top of my black line. Does anyone have a better idea? If not, should I use touch up paint or pinstripe tape?

I finally got pictures as requested!
How do I fix areas like this where the tape did not adhere and the black paint bled into the blue? Keightley |

The width of the black going up the panel near the top of the arch is wider than the area where it bled through.
I would get some good masking tape and mask off the blue so that the width of the black going up the panel is consistent. Prep and spray the black. Remember when removing the tape to do so before the paint dries and at an angle slightly towards the black. 1968 Coronet R/T
