new paint damaged from painters plastic

Masking plastic film should never be put over a wet surface. If some condensation formed during the three days it was on there then this is what happens.

As the other guys said, leave out in the sun and it should go away.

This will even happen on old cured factory paint. The plastic film reacts with moisture.
If you look on the box (Most of them) it will say to not apply to a damp or wet surface.

A light compound will take it off. Don't sand it with anything......
