Hey all, first post!

I'm interested in achieving a gold finish on my emblems as shown below.

I did some tests on spoons (shown below) DupliColor Auto Series Metallic Gold and Rustoleum Universal Metallic Gold Spray Paint, but I'm not confident they will give me the results I'm looking for.

I did a crude photoshop (shown below) to demonstrate what I believe the outcome will be and so I'm hesitant to continue.

Here is what the emblems look like stock. I may end up trying again to wrap them with vinyl but I'm quite inexperienced so it will take a bit more effort.

Any pointers?

I realized using the spoon textures via photoshop I didn't scale them down, so the texture in the crude mockup is scaled up too much, I'll have to scale down the texture and re-upload a more accurate mockup.

I really don't think your going to get the results your looking for with a paint product. the closes thing I would suggest is a candy gold but I've never seen it, and the longevity wouldn't be good. you need someone that does platting. or the wrap as you suggested.

Didn't even think that was available to the public! Thanks for the tip Jay. D!
