Question for colour painting/matching
Lets say i am spraying 3 different parts to a car, all from the exact same paint tin
1 fender/wing - full colour respray/change
A bonnet and bumper that are the factory white colour, so these may already match the car, but will need blending.
I have already blended the wing to the bumper - and successfully, as I have both these parts.
How ever, the bonnet will need blending in to the wing when it arrives
given I don't have a body shop, and room to have a full car in the garage, the parts will need to be done OFF the car.
But Long story short, can I blend a bonnet OFF a car , on a different day, with the exact same tin of paint with good results? after I have already sprayed the wing? or will colour matching just not be achievable even if the paint comes from the same tin?

Yes you can, but try and do everything the exact same with the same
gun settings and style. JC.
