So need some epoxy primer black for painting bolts, have gotten it no probs before from local paint shop.

Todaythey pushed this as a better or equivelant paint.

Can those that are more in the know tell me if its similiar or not.

Its not actually an epoxy but an acrylic

There's a big difference between a product that will adhere to bare metal and one that will give it long term protection.

Did you notice that the TDS makes absolutely no mention of corrosion protection?

Lots of paints, 1K and 2K are acrylic based. Nothing sinister in that.

Yeh so not really good for bolts then hey
