i removed pinstripes with a wheel attachment to keep paint but there is some yellowing left behind in some spots. i am not sure if it is the adhesive from the pinstripes. i was going to use the wheel a little longer but did not want to burn it to the bare metal.
i would like to keep the paint if i can so i dont have to get another paint job. just have to remove that yellowing. any help would be appreciated thanks!

You are asking a lot there..... the yellow you are seeing was probably either a slight reaction with the old adhesive and the paint or possibly you are seeing the white paint "patina" between where the stripes were at. You can "try" and remove the yellow with a combo of clay bar/lube, then moving into compounding with a rotary.....don't get your hopes up though.....

paint stained from the adhesive, for ever. i did a quickly on one just about like that. removed the stripes and noticed the same yellowing. sanded it with a D/A and 320 and never did get rid of the yellowing.
