What do I do with a dent that once it is pulled it pops back in? It is impossible to get back behind it with any sort of tool or for pushing out. I use a stud welder and puller.

Yup need pics of this one.
What it sounds like is you got yourself an Oilcan.
They can be Tuff to figure out and fix right.

From your Post it sounds like you induced the problem by welding on a Stud to pull on it?
Is this correct?

If so what damage was their before? welding the stud angain pics would help a lot if you have them.

Sometimes I redent the panel or use a shrinking disk on it.

You will need to shrink the metal that is stretched out of shape.
Depending on the size of the area, there are a few different methods available.
