Hello, I was wet sanding out and Chunk of trash out of my new paint job, it's Omni plus base and nason clear and I went thru and hit the base on roof, it's a 69 chevelle so my question is, I have 3 coats of clear now, should I mask the car ,touch up the area with color, it's 2"x2" area , and re clear the roof and the 2 rear quarters, or try using a blender? I never used a blender before, I was just thinking I didn't want to have to much clear when it's done, 3 original coats then maybe 2 additional coats? Or try the blender? If reclearing is the way to go is 800 wet sandpaper good for scuffing the clear?
Thanks
Hit Base

Yes, best way is to blend some clear over your rubthrough, then reclear roof and quarters, unless there's a panel line that you can finish on.
You can use P800 wet under the base but I'd go to P1200 under clear so you don't see any scratch marks. Chris
