I am trying to spray the door jambs of a BMW. I know the best way is to remove the panels but I am trying not to do this. The panels and rubbers are coated with Amorall or something similar and nothing will stick to them. I have tried reducer and even laqure thinner in a small spot but nothing works.. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Armour All and other silicone products are the bane of painters.
The stuff is very difficult to remove and causes fisheyes even
when you think you've cleaned it all.

Try washing the jambs with a strong solution of Dawn dishwashing
soap, followed with TSP (tri-sodium phosphate). You'll need to
go over the areas several times, and even then there are no guarantees...
