Hello,
I am looking for a solution for my cars spoiler paint. It looks and feel gritty, and it looks like it might be cracking if you zoom in to the photos. I have no background or experience in cars in any form, but I stumbled here looking for diy fixes. I’ve seen a video of someone with a similar looking situation sand the area down and then spray a colored primer and then clear coat on top. Would this help my spoiler look better? I appreciate any advise! I don’t have any special equipment so any suggestions that don’t need that are appreciated as well! Thank you

Honestly, and with no reflection on you, for someone with no experience and no tools or equipment, I'd say just take it to a shop and get them to do it. Alternately call one of the mobile guys, they could do it on site for you. Cost maybe $200. You'd probably spend that, or close to it, just on materials.

The clear on your spoiler is delaminating. Common problem but will need complete removal then sanding, primer, sanding, sealer, sanding, basecoat, clearcoat, probably sanding again, then buffing.

$200.00 sounds cheap to me

(It's not custom painting-it's custom sanding)
