Hi all. I'm redoing my failed attempt to paint/apply clear coat to my wife's car. To do this properly, at a hight level, should I sand through clear coat, then apply new base coat, or should I start with primer then base coat? Appreciate the help to a beginner!

Depends on how many paint jobs are on the car.
