What I am saying is Air compressors and air filter systems need a Sticky of their own.

I have been here long enough to know that the info is here and where to find it.
The point that the info is covered and in the current stickys is not enough obviously.

like I said could an experienced painter pull off using too small of a compressor in a pinch? yes, could a newb do it? not likely! AND we have hundreds of threads that prove it.

Far to often we read "help" and when we see the picks most of the problems are air related you know this.


This is supposed to be a fun hobby, Labor intensive & expensive, but fun non the less.
Its no fun for anyone when you have to sand off everything and start over. I know its part of the learning process to a certain point but some of their problems could be stopped before they happen with a Good air system to start with.
