Hello,
I've been making some repairs and thought that I had feathered my base far enough, but was wrong. I think I didn't see the extent of the over spray due to insufficient lighting. While my clear turned out great, there is a defined edge in the color.
I put several spot lights on the area to highlight the flaw.
So, my thoughts were to sand back to 800, respray my color over reduced (% recommended?) And take my feathering further out over most of the roof. Finish off base with straight reducer at the edges.
I used straight reducer to blend my clear, but did not for my base.
Will this work over the new clear and blend properly with areas already painted?
Any input appreciated.
Thanks!

Never hard mask on the panel when you're blending. Sand it back, reblend and clear the whole panel.
Search my posts for tips on masking and blending. Chris
