We just picked up our new Bronco Sport and found a small issue on the doors. It looks almost like hail damage but its not, it came from the factory that way. We checked the other units on the dealers lot and they all have the same issue. Anyone else notice a problem like this? The dealer offered to fill the imperfections and paint them but I don't want to do that with a vehicle that is 2 days old, I want Ford to offer a solution. Any suggestions?

I've been following along on some other forums on paint issues with the Broncos. They appear to be having chipping problems as well with the paint. Looks like those simple chips were going all the way down to bare metal. I've seen quite literally "press marks" in other new models introduced in the past (several different manufacturers) with explanations being how they were cinched in place on transporters.
Hey, any chance you could throw a pic. or two on here?

If it's a shallow dent with no paint problems, find a PDR guy that
can remove them without painting.

If they were their when you bought it Why did you buy it?

I remember the Toyota trucks always had dimples on quarters and fenders when sold new from Spot welds just the way it was.
My opinion you shouldn't have bought it till dealer fixed it bringing up issues days later on appearance is on you, buyer remorse. just my opinion though.

the PDR is an excellent way to go here if the dents are not caused by spot welds or other attachment procedures. such as the Toyota bed side problem with spot welds. it's nearly impossible to fix without major body work. if the PDR guy can't fix your problem then you most likely will have to live with it. poor craftsmanship on Fords part, the same with Toyota. poor engineering and assembly, should have used panel adhesive on the bed sides. i have replaced several and i do it, why can't they.
