Hello all,
I am getting ready to install a new quarter panel but before I do I want to get rid of some surface rust.
It is between the 1/4 and the interior structure. Some areas will be hard to get with wire wheel, roloc I have a small sand blaster but afraid of media going everywhere recommendations would be appreciated. once rust is gone I plan on epoxy prime and paint body color.download/file.php?mode=view&id=13940

thats not a serious problem, its light surface rust in an area that will never be seen. i would just clean it with a scotch bright pad and coat it with some epoxy, in there you can brush it on. be sure and tape off any areas that will get welded or glued when installing the new panel. i like to treat areas that will get welded with a shot of weld through primer. do this and it will outlast your grad kids grand kids.
