Well going to a Diff product is your choice BUT I would call PPG and complain about the dealer! My PPG dealer in Vegas can be testy at times as they get a bit busy but I am always treated with respect.

This is a dramatic before and after, I think..... Oh, and this is the SEM Black Landau top Color Coat....

I have found SEM vinyl paints to work very well.

Used this spray can to change colors on arm rests for '69 Chevy C-10:

It remains flexible and seems to be quite durable as well.

The other thing I have done is use Activated Base Coat with no clear for interior door panels, dash pads, etc.

Got the idea from an RM Diamont Tech sheet:

It's what I did on my signature car's dash pads, console and arm rests.

mymachone wrote:I have a large amount of vinyl I need to redye, buying the spray cans is not my goal at $7-8 a can. Based on the small piece I did spray took 3 cans and at that rate , I’ll need about 25 cans to do the job. Reupholstering is not in the cards
I understand they now have a flexible paint for vinyl/leather in bulk ? I have not had much success finding this stuff. Any idea where to get it ?

Here’s what I want to spray .you’ll notice 1 seat got covered after 4 cans of the stuff.
Just a quick comment , this is our gathering place , we have get togethers here and when not doing that , I park our 2 classics in there.

Cost wise 4 total panels were covered with 1/2 quart. That comes out to about $25 for everything.
