Hey guys, Diyer here, and have never sprayed a 3 stage paint. I'm doing some rust repair on this truck and am curious as to whether it is actually a 3 stage, or a two stage with some three stage effects? In the picture I see a gray primer, then a light blue coating(tinted primer?) And then the basecoat and clear? The light blue threw me off. Called my paint guy just to get a price and he quoted me for basecoat and never mentioned anything else would be needed. This is not a full job, just rockers and lower fenders, and I have to do a little blending in some lower areas. Just curious as to whether that light blue coat is needed or was that to get quicker coverage at the factory?

I am ignorant, be gentle.

Thanks for any help.

Josh
