Restoring a long bed pickup truck. I want to paint the inside of the bed the same body color as the outside of the truck. Any ideas on how to access all areas to apply a few coats?

I normally use a ladder so I can reach over the edge and spray the underside, walls and floors of the bed.
You have to drape the air hose over your shoulder to keep it from hitting the truck, so try going through the motions first without spraying any paint.

I paint the bed separate from the truck and then reinstall it.

:goodpost: theirs a lot of variables when doing this. what i like to do is to paint the inside first, cover the outside then spray the inside. if your doing just the walls then its easy. If you're painting the floor also, do one coat on the walls only then on your second coat on the walls do the floor. you can reach over the side to get the second coat on the floor area if you want. removing the box is the best way to go.
