Hey Guys, curious if anyone knows what the beige sealer is on a later model unibody frame. Specifically the frame horn area of the vehicle, it a grey/ beige colour, with a bit of a sheen to it. Wondering how I can blend in a minor repair area to give it a clean look rather than using a black satin paint. Car is a later model Maserati, but I've seen it on other Europeon vehicles as well, Bmw being one.
Thanks Guys,
Dan

I personally have no idea what it is BUT I bet if you get a hold of the Factory model specific repair manual for the car it will be specified in the body Paint repair section, Most factory manuals do have the information in them. Dennis B.

Another option that I have used is to mix white and black epoxy primer to achieve the appropriate gray color. Once you have it close, add an equal amount of reducer to produce a sealer coat.

Both good points guys. I do have a copy of the manual, I'll see if it has any info on it.

Look into SEM EZ coat.
Rattle cans that are close to many factory primer colors. |

Sorry, I thought you were mixing and spraying so my advice won't apply.

Colour match it using a white epoxy as your starting point. Those colours are pretty easy - a little black, some yellow oxide, red oxide and maybe some green.
Only epoxy will give you the performance standard necessary to match what was on there from the factory. Chris
