Just painted my VW Thing about 2 weeks ago and looked like crap; so decided to recoat.
Using the same color.
Question after sanding smooth do I need to re-primer or can I just repaint????

It looks like you've sanded through in a number of spots and I can see some bog there too. Yes, reapply primer. Doesn't need to be thick, just use it as a sealer then lightly sand to not coarser than P600 before applying topcoat.

Yep, as Chris says.

And also paint behaves differently over bog, primer and old topcoat. So you could get different gloss levels and it could be a bit transparent over the light bits too.

Looks like a fun project, good luck.

:goodpost: AS Bill911 said, the paint may behave different over the BOG (BONDO). its good practice to at least spot prime the bog spots and sand them, then use a sealer before your topcoat. did you catalyze your first color coat?
