I don’t know how I did it but I mixed my 1:1 epoxy 4:1, and sprayed three fenders and a door off the car. It set up just as quick as when I made it 1:1 for the wheel wells I brush primed. Dry in half an hour. Went on good too. Just put a splash of reducer in. What should I do, take it all off? It’s on bare metal that’s sanded with P80 mostly and blasted in places. Thanks

No need to take it off. Mix (at the correct ratio) and spray another coat then carry on.

I never use reducer in Epoxy only Acetone. Thats the only thing I thought was supposed to be added to Epoxy? Dennis B.

Depends on the epoxy. I use Axalta Cromax 840R which specifies 3:1:1 for sanding, 4:1:1.5 for non-sanding, the last being a basecoat reducer.

Agreed. I only use Urethane Reducer with Epoxy Primer because that's what the Tech Sheet says. 1968 Coronet R/T
