Hi,
I have a gallon of Dupont 580S clear coat, and a quart of Nason 483 87 urethane activator I would like to mix, does that work OK. Oh I have a gallon of Nason XL 447 75 solvent, would it be OK to use the slovent as a reducer for the above.

i would say yes, it SHOULD work. I would mix a small amount and spray it on something then check it the next day. IF it gets hard you should be ok. NOTE the (SHOULD and IF) longevity???????. WHAT are you going to put it on?

Just ring the tech guys at Axalta.
They will tell you exactly what can be used with that clear. Chris

Just a follwup...I have some auto body parts that are flat black, is there a way to use this 480S and keep the flat black not glossy matt look?

NO! UNLESS you add a flattening agent to the 580.
