Is it common practice for a paint store to reduce the base and still charge the full base price?

I was quoted $46 for a pint of MBP. I purchased the pint at that price, but was informed afterward that it had been reduced for me.

Depends on the jobber. Remember they are the middle man in the delivery system and have to find a way to make money.

Personally, I order all my paint products online from trusted suppliers.

Automotive Art's Motobase LV is my recommendation for base coats. I purchase them from Chad Sperry: https://www.autorodtechnologies.com/cha ... -and-audio. Prices quoted will included shipping, they can match colors and factory paint codes.

I get my Epoxy, Build Primer and Clear from ess pee eye and again the prices include shipping to my door.
