OK, this is the first time I've attempted to paint a full panel. I've just done touchups before.

I've successfully gotten to the buffing stage(after repainting twice...), and have a question on buffing.
When I buff with the first stage of buffing compound (Im using a terry bonnet), do all of the dull spots need to "disappear" before I can move on to the next stage of buffing compound?
