Well if someone kicked anything other than the bumper or tires, sure good reason to get peeved.

A bumper can take abuse, not going to hurt anything except a telsa fanboy's wittle Fewings. A rock kicked up on the highway, or hitting a sampling at 5mph would do more damage to a bumper than someone kicking a bumper. I'd just laugh.

I could have purchased new fenders, but this was more fun even though it took more time than needed. Repaired areas are 18 gauge steel though.

The left fender has wrinkles along the arch (photo in one of the previous posts)... should have welded it on the outside instead. I'm not sure if hammering these wrinkles out is the best or just epoxy it and fill it. I'll post better photos when I get them.

Working the metal to reduce the amount of filler is ALWAYS better! If patient, you can eliminate filler all together by hammer and dolly work.

I'll attempt it. The left fender's welds weren't smoothed out because I welded from the inside rather than the outside, leading to wrinkling due to my impatience. Previously, when I worked on the body near a weld, the metal ended up tearing at the joint.

Mig welds are very hard and will crack when over worked, That's why Gas welding or Tig welding is preferred. A small Gas welding set up can be found cheap BUT the learning curve is steep. The only reason so many use a Mig is because its easy to use.
