Hey Guys,

I'm a newbie on the site and I've only worked in a mechanical repair shop never an autobody one but I'm attempting to restore my 98 SVT Contour. The rocker panels aren't completely gone, see the pics below....

I just received a quote for $1000 per side from Lucky's Collision in Farmington Hills, MI. They said they'd probably have to fab the inner rocker panel some then use industrial adhesive to attach the outer rocker panel. The other quote I got was $600 from Maaco, but I do want it to be done correctly. Anyone have any thoughts about this kind of repair and the price of the quotes?

The rust in the pictures only shows the tip of the iceberg so to speak.
For $600 Maaco will only cover up the problem and in a short time things will be worse than they are now.
