MIG GAS and MIG FLUX CORE in 1 machine?

Is this possible?
A complete newbie,..I can't find anywhere if it is possible to get a machine which can convert between GAS and FLux Core?

Yes, any gas machine can use flux core wire?
Just leave the gas off. Good lock.

lincoln handy mig.
im pretty sure any machine can. for gas welding, have the shielding gas set up and proper wire.
for flux core, put in a spool of flux core wire and leave the gas off.

Besides leaving the gas off, you need to change polarity.

Flux core is only good for out doors similar to Stick welding in my opinion.

Why do you want to use Flux core?

In auto body work there really is no practical use for flux welding, it's just a krappy weld!

Couldn't agree more.
I can see using it for fencing or some other place were ascetics aren't important but not on car sheet metal.
