how do i go about banging/shaping this fender out?
i fixed the bumper already by plastic welding with my heat gun.
now i need to fix the fender so i can put my front back on.
fyi: im pretty handy but never did metal work before

Question is, how much access do you have on the back side?
Like most vehicles I'll bet it's crammed with air boxes, wash bottles, etc. Might be easier to use weld studs and pull it out! |

FENDER DOES NOT HAVE TO COME OUT. THERE'S ROOM SINCE THERE'S NO HEADLIGHT INSTALLED.

you use the dolly and hammer with the shape closest to the desired finish shape so that metal is not pushed out of position any more than it is currently.

remove the fender, you will be able to fix the dent better, you wont have to mask the car saving you money, REMOVE THE FENDER IT IS A 10 MIN JOB

When I zoom in on that area, it looks to me like the metal is pressed against the fender flange, and I suspect that flange is large. The part of the dent to push out, is the part that is pressed in and I don't see that happening. The rest of the dent is just pulled in and shouldn't be messed with at this point. The metal is also creased and stretched considerably and will encounter much more stretching during a repair attempt.

I am a little late BUT I wouldn't use any of those hammers you need one with a lower crown face as far as Dolly goes I wouldn't use them either except maybe the Heel dolly and you'll have to get another one called a Toe dolly not in the picture.
The Hammer I would grab would look like this. Large surface area very low crown. Toe dolly looks like this You should have gotten this kit from Eastwood If you have access to the back I would leave it on the car, But to finish it your gonna need a Shrinking disk. Dennis B.
