You guys are way over thinking this for me. Need to dial it down to, yes it's worth trying Silicon Bronze wire or no, it's not worth the time and effort.

I'm still struggling with steel wire so not looking for another challenge or a PHD in the welding process. :rotfl:

Amen Brother!
The stuff does work, it is worth the effort I use the stuff with my Tig,
But at this time I am not going to spend the extra cash to buy a Spool of wire and a New liner to run it when I can Tig it or Gas weld the stuff with a Little Flux.
I am of the belief that the stuff should have its own liner like Aluminum, Last thing I need to do is deal with some weird contamination issue I cant figure out while welding steel lol.

On a serious note a Spool gun would be the better way to go with this stuff.

Lot's of smack talk but no one's posted pictures of what they could weld but me. :goodjob:

As far as PHD goes... a little past the welding equal to "cave and pave", yea.

Einstein once said:
"If a cluttered desk is a sign of a cluttered mind, what is an empty desk a sign of?"

On a serious note...No it's not, you're mistaken. Smarten up.
One post over the line maybe, but the last one for sure.
I'm saying good by. Play ground is yours. As you were.

I'm going to think grannyknot learned something from it. Wasn't that after all the point? :flatten:
