I know when I look for help on forums I like to see the end result and so I will post the pictures I have of it here. I repaired all the rust holes with a welder and some scrap 22 gauge steel. The rust was obviously way worse than expected taking nearly the entire cab corner structure with it. Some spots of the drip rails needed to be fabricated and replaced from rot, but with some time and a hammer I got new rails in as well. I did all the body work on the truck myself including seam sealing, I just forgot to take pictures of the cab corner with filler on it. But I am very happy with how it turned out for my very first body repair project and I am going to be taking it home from being painted this coming week.
