Got a question... this is the front end of my outer rocker panel. You can see the pitting and there is a small hole. I have an inside and outside pic. What would be the way to patch this problem ??
Thanks !!

Cut out or cut off Pitted metal weld on good piece. :rotfl:

Now where do you get that piece?
Hopefully you can find an original or Aftermarket or as I like to try to do make your own.

I am out of here driving out to go get a Desoto Bumper I have been looking for for over 12 years for my 57 Chrysler.

Parts for these cars are really hard to find as most were parted out for there 392 Hemi engines for Drag racing prior to the 426 hitting the street in 65-66

When I came back through Baker Ca coming home the Big thermometer said 128 degrees! OMG HOT! and No AC in my truck! I am never doing that again!

But I got the Dam Bumper almost died BUT I got the dam bumper.

It doesn't need to be pressed just re chromed.

I may go with one of the Members here has a Chrome paint system that uses real Silver in it.
Stuff looks like a Mirror when done correctly and its supposed to be really Tuff stuff once applied correctly.

the engine is going to be close !

Now the mocking up starts. I am replacing the entire firewall with a recessed area. I'm just getting an idea where the floors are going to be.
